Coping with being an independent label

It's kind of hard to look around and listen to alot of the crap I listen to. You would think that with all the people in the world, some would try harder to make theirs sound better...unfortunately, it does not work that way. I have always been, and will continue to be utterly disgusted with 90% of music that is played on the radio, whether it is intended for your trunk or the club. I am referring to hip-hop only by the way...I don't want people to think Threshold Records is too arrogant for its own good, I want people to compare us to what we are going up against and be HONEST. Do we really deserve to be with the big dogs, or does our music only sound like a TRUE underground movement. By that I mean a movement allowing records to be distributed and making thousands of dollars, but not entertainment money. So I am asking you, the public, to us in our place...Is our music THAT good or do we need ALOT of work? Leave me some feedback please.
